Using the gene pool of CIMMYT cultivars and lines in spring durum wheat breeding in Western Siberia

Background. Preservation and expansion of the source material genetic diversity its purposeful use is basis for development adaptable spring durum wheat cultivars environments Western Siberia. Materials methods. The target research included promising Triticum Desf. developed in Spring Durum Wheat Breeding Laboratory Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center as well gene pool lines obtained under CIMMYT International Cooperation Program.
